The Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship develops these capabilities further, with a strong emphasis on project management and procurement skills needed to manage more complex responsibilities.

Who is the Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner apprenticeship programme for?

Individuals in the Supply Chain, including, those in planning, customer service, warehousing, production, HR, quality, logistics, and those with little to no commercial, procurement or supply chain experience.

Any Department Involved in the Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chains or Provision of Goods and Services.

How long is the Level 3 procurement apprenticeship?

Up to 18 months.

Programme Overview

  • This programme is delivered in a combination of once per month live learning with a tutor, and online support resources.

  • Students receive one-to-one coaching with an experienced coach

  • Students receive full access to ABA online resources

What will you learn?

  • Data Analysis: Studying data protection and cyber security regulations, analysing KPIs, and identifying and minimising logistics costs.

  • Continuous Improvement: Use continuous improvement techniques to improve supply chain performance, manage the flow of goods, and use quality assurance procedures.

  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Study key legislation, regulations, documentation, and sustainability principles.

  • Supply Chain Team Dynamics: Learn to collaborate within teams and with stakeholders, and to adapt to work demands in a fast paced changing environment.

Costs and funding

Apprenticeship cost: £15,000

Employers paying the apprenticeship levy can use their funds to pay for this programme. Smaller organisations with an annual payroll bill of less than £3 million per year, will need to contribute 5% towards the cost of this programme. The rest will be paid for by the UK government.
