Applications need be submitted directly to CIPS before the exam entry closure date of the assessment. To apply for a reasonable adjustment, the application form can be located in your MyCIPS area under My Requests and Applications within ‘Exam Related Applications.'

Candidates may apply for special consideration in instances that could not possibly be predicted. Applications must be made within 2 days of the date of the exam or assessment. This also applies to candidates wishing to report any incident which may have affected their examination or assessment performance. You can submit your application by heading to your MyCIPS area and My Requests and Applications within ‘Exam Related Applications’.

  • The time scale varies, but it's roughly 4 weeks for Objective Responce exams, and 6 weeks for Constructed Responce exams.

  • CIPS don't provide exam feedback. Following the release of exam results, you're provided with a performance report which will breakdown the percentage of the mark allocated against each learning outcome. This will hopefully identify areas for you to focus on.

Don't worry though, before your exam we'll give you some mocks to try which do give you information about any questions you got wrong and explinations of the correct answer.
