No Levy? No Problem!
You can access Levy funding and get an apprenticeship for FREE, even if you don’t pay into the Levy!
Companies with a wage bill of over £3m/year pay into the Apprenticeship Levy and can use this to fund their own apprentices. Normally, if they don’t use the full amount, the money goes back to the Treasury.

Our apprenticeships are delivered in person in Norwich, Chelmsford or Peterborough or fully online.
But not anymore! Apprenticeships Norfolk have teamed up with local organisations who don’t spend all their Apprenticeship Levy fund and want to share it to increase opportunities for others locally.
It can be used by companies who either don’t pay into the Levy or have used all of their funds already. It means you don’t have to contribute any money directly towards the apprenticeship, we would claim it directly via the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
You can access the funds if:
Your business is registered in Norfolk
You have appointed the candidate for the apprenticeship (this can be an existing employee as well as a new recruit)
You pay into the apprenticeship levy, but already spend all your funds, or
You do not pay into the apprenticeship levy and your apprentice is aged 22 or older.
You can request the funding by contacting Apprenticeships Norfolk. The form to fill out takes 5 minutes and can be completed as soon as you know you have an apprentice coming onboard.
It can be completed by the apprentice, the employer or us as your training provider!

Procurement apprenticeships are available at Level 3, Level 4 and Level 6 of the CIPS qualifications (no don’t ask us why it’s not available at Level 5, CIPS don’t count like the rest of us).
